Dr. Stephanie A. Ritter - Doctor of Dental Surgery

Dr. Stephanie A. Ritter is a North Dakota native. She was raised on a farm southwest of Sherwood and graduated as valedictorian of her class from Sherwood High School in 1998. After graduation, she attended St. Olaf College and graduated summa cum laude in 2002 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology. She continued her education at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry in Iowa City and received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in 2006. Dr. Ritter then moved to Minot to pursue her goal of opening her own practice. In August 2007, that goal became a reality with the opening of Ritter Family Dentistry.

Dr. Ritter is an active member of the Minot Dental Society, North Dakota Dental Association, American Dental Association, Little Flower Catholic Church, and Young Professionals of Minot. She and her husband, Lance, reside outside of Minot with their yellow labs, Cooper and Chloe. They enjoy spending time outdoors hiking, riding bike, and camping.

Julie Colby - Registered Dental Hygienist

Julies was raised in Ray, North Dakota and graduated from Ray High School in 2000. She went on to graduate from Dental Hygiene at NDSCS in 2003.

Julie, her husband, Cody, and pug, Daisy, returned to North Dakota in 2009 after living in Bemidji, Minnesota for the past five years. Together they enjoy spending time with family and friends, camping, biking and golfing.

Christine Horton - Certified Dental Assistant, Registered Dental Hygienist

Christine was born and raised in Swift Current, Saskatchewan, Canada. In 1996, she graduated from Dental Assisting (CDA) and then completed her Dental Hygiene (RDH) degree in 1999. A new job for her husband brought Christine and her family to Minot in 2004. Christine and her husband, Brent, have four young children. She enjoys spending time with her family and doing anything athletic.

Kristin Kokot - Certified Dental Assistant, Registered Dental Hygienist

Kristin was born and raised in Minot, North Dakota. She graduated from Minot High School in 1999. She then graduated from Dental Assisting in 2000 and went on to graduate from Dental Hygiene in 2003.

When Kristin is not practicing hygiene, she enjoys road biking during the summer months. She has participated in the CANDICS and bike the border since 2006. In the winter months, she races vintage snowmobiles with her family (KB Racing) and enjoys going to the mountains with her husband, Bill.

Amy Schaefer - Registered Dental Assistant, Registered Dental Hygienist

Amy was born in Minot, North Dakota and raised in Burlington, North Dakota. She graduated from DesLacs Burlington High School in 1998. In May of 2000 she graduated from NDSCS in Wahpeton in Dental Assisting. After working for a year as a dental assistant, she returned to NDSCS and graduated from the dental hygiene program in May 2003.

In her spare time, Amy enjoys outdoor activities. She likes hunting with her dad, brother-in-laws and husband, Matt. Fishing at the lake with her family is also a love she has! Her indoor hobbies are photography and scrapbooking- mainly of their son, Jacob, who is 3 years old. Their family would not be complete without their family pet, Mossy, a black lab!

Kelli Seideman - Registered Dental Assistant

Kelli was born and raised in Minot, North Dakota and graduated from Minot High School in 1995. She graduated from dental assisting at NDSCS in December of 2004. Kelli has been assisting for Dr. Ritter since she opened in August of 2007. In her spare time, Kelli enjoys spending time with her two kids, Jordan and Abbigale, who keep her very busy running to extracurricular activities.

Sheryl Ofsthun - Registered Dental Assistant

Sheryl was born, raised and educated in California. She and her husband, Gordon, have lived in Minot for the past 13 years. They have one son, Drake, who will be in the 8th grade. Sheryl and her family love to be outdoors and enjoy hunting. Sheryl also enjoys gardening and making creations with stained glass.

Jolene Dosch - Office Coordinator

Jolene was born in Minot and spent her childhood in Washington. In 1997 she returned to North Dakota. Jolene and her husband, Jeff, have one son, Dallas. Their family would not be complete without their two dogs, Whylee and Tanzee. She enjoys hunting, fishing, and gardening in her spare time.
